About 2 weeks ago james had some vacation time and we had a trip planned to go down to Savannah, GA. we were really excited to go -- i have wanted to see savannah ever since we've moved to GA. and then of course all the hurricanes started to make their way up the coast -- hence our decision to forgo savannah and james' idea to take a road trip up to NY. so, we packed up the car with suitcases, food, drinks, and of course the kids and made our way up to NY to suprise my family!!!!!

Juliette had so much fun wearing the helmet and scooter; i think she wore that helmet for a good 45 minutes. even when she wasn't on the scooter she just walked around with it on -- she LOVED it!!!!!
and we can't forget billy -- he was like a big brother to her; he played with her inside with tons and tons of toys (he even gave her some of his old toys that were in the best condition; which she played with all the way home). and then outside he showed her how to use a scooter and there was a good attempt on a skateboard. it really was so much fun to watch the two of them!!!

Juliette is BEAUTIFUL! And Joseph is such a cutie! He's such a smiley kid, I love it!
