summer wouldn't be complete here at casa long if we didn't have a visit from GRANDMA & GRANDPA!!!!! instead of coming from the pacific this year they came all the way from europe! yes, mark and carolyn were transferred last summer from Okinawa, Japan to Germany.

i think this was our 9th maybe 10th attempt at a family picture of mark and carolyn w/ the kids after church one day. what makes me laugh most about this picture is that joseph and juliette are making the same face.
one of joseph's favorite things to do w/ mark was pull his glasses out of his shirt pocket and put them on. as you can see he looks so cute and funny all at the same time w/ them on!!!!
