so, i really hope this blog post works. last week i tried posting juliette's birthday party pics and videos and it worked at first but then i deleted the pictures off of my computer and it somehow deleted them off of my blog as well. so, i guess we'll see what happens... most of you already know but for those who don't i just had to post these pictures b/c juliette just left her "babyhood" behind and stepped into childhood completely :-) about 3 weeks ago juliette had her 6 month cleaning at the dentist in which he pointed out that juliette's bottom 2 teeth were loose. it was a fun surprise for both of us. she came home and told everyone thinking it was going to fall out any minute but i wasn't to worried b/c they weren't that loose. then yesterday i sent her off to school with her mouth looking normal and then she came home with a very dangley tooth. a few pictures to share...
this picture was taken about 30 min. before i left the house for choir practice. however, right before i left she was practically having a melt down b/c it was ready to come out and she said "i can't be brave! i can't be brave to let my tooth come out!" james was doing his best to console her and from what he told me it came out w/o hitch. it took a few sips of ice water and after saying a prayer to Heavenly Father to help juliette be brave juliette finally let james grab onto her loose tooth with some toilet paper and she jerked her head back and it came right out. surprisingly no tears and only a little bit of blood. YAY!!!!!! she was so brave!
it's official, i was initiated last night into the ToothFairy Clan!
the happiest and proudest little 5 year old!!! her first visit from the tooth fairy left her with $1 and a card from the ToothFairy herself.
* and just in case you were wondering i still plan on posting their birthday parties; hopefully this time it'll work*
