Juliette's 5th Birthday Party

i saved this blog 3 months ago when i wrote b/c i knew i would eventually figure this whole picture/blog thing out so here it is:

2 weeks ago we had juliette's birthday and holy cow, it was a crazy blast!!!!! all of juliette's prior birthday parties were very small family get togethers. this year, however, (b/c we felt turning 5 was a big birthday) we let her have her first friend birthday party. we had it at the park just around the corner from our home with beautiful blue skies, tons of warm sunshine and 15 four and five year olds running wild. it was a blast! juliette loved having all her friends and family to help celebrate. i just can't believe that this little girl of mine is already 5...

you know what i loved about getting to the park and setting up for juliette's party? juliette was really the biggest help. she helped me get all the grocery bags out of the car, set up the tables, and made sure every thing was in its place. she was so cute!

one of the coolest things we did as an activity for juliette's party was a 3 legged race. it was a new thing for juliette and all of her friends (w/ the exception of jade and kailyn) but fun none the less.

another fun activity we had planned was a pinata. juliette went first of course and below we have video of it. i felt bad for all of juliette's friends b/c just 2 people after juliette the pinata was whacked down by a 7 year old and no else had a chance to take a swing; alas, it was made up for all the candy that covered the entire ground below.

if you can't tell by this picture juliette really did make out like a bank robber with all the presents she received. she loved each and every one of them! thanks everyone for an awesome day!!!!
