this handsome little man of mine has happily and sadly turned 4 a couple weeks ago. do you know what 4 means???? 4 means he's no longer 3. he's leaving his toddler years and moving onto little kid years. 4 means an extra minute of time out, 2 vitamins instead of just 1, 4 means he thinks that sometimes he's really not 4 but rather he thinks he's a fulltime SUPER HERO about 19 years old and doesn't want to do everything that moms wants him to do. for me 4 is a turning year - i felt the same way when juliette turned 4. this little man of mine will be off to preK in august and just as it was w/ juliette i know time will move even quicker than it has over these last 4 years. i'm so grateful for my 4 year old! he's funny and spirited with laughter and all the rough and tumbelness that comes with any little boy! he's a sweet, sweet gift from our Heavenly Father and we thank Him for having sent us Joseph!
say CHEESE!
reading his new Transformer book with Papa
he got the mask and shield for chritmas but tucked behind his left arm is a small Captain America shield which attatches to his shirt and talks so his uniform is slowly but surely becoming complete.
my mom was taking pictures of the kids dressed up after church on Sunday to wrap up their birthday week here and this was one i was able to get with my camera.
you know just before joseph's due date (b/c i have to have C-sections) the Dr. asked us if we would like to have his delivery on the 15th and we said no of course b/c that is juliette's birthday and we at least wanted for each of them to have their own special day. and so it was decided that he would come on the 18th. juliette thought he was her birthday present. she is such a proud big sister. i'm glad they were born so close together and can share their happiness together each year. i hope it will always stay this way for these two sweet babies of mine!
