i know, I Know, I KNOW!!!! it has been almost 2 months and i definitely need to play CATCH UP but i'm gonna have to do a quick summer recap as fast as i can in order to get to our HUGE-BIG-MASSIVE-MOMENT: the 1st Day of School.
But onto the rest of summer at Casa Long... Swim team finished the first week in july. The kids had the best time, made some great friends, and as little swimmers grew into much bigger fish :-)
along with swim team we had grandma and grandpa with us in sharing lots of summer fun. and with all the craziness of getting 5 kids dressed up to take pics w/ grandma and grandpa we did end up getting some great shots w/ their bavarian outfits on.
after lots of fun in GA we headed up to NY for some serious party and family time!!!! it was great to be home w/ my family and the kids of course had the time of their life running around, playing with the daycare kids at my mom's daycare, tractor rides, swimming, s'mores, fishing, and lots of time w/ papa and abueli!
NY was great but we couldn't leave it all behind completely so we brought back someone w/ us, UNCLE ERIK!!!!
and if one uncle wasn't good enough we had the excitement of another uncle to come stay w/ us, UNCLE TIMMY!!!!
it was a great summer even though technically it's not over. yes, school may have started already but it's still hot, the pool is still open, and we're still planning on having a BLAST!!!!!
***and for those who look at the online photo albums, i've loaded up pictures on the 7 new albums. the top 6 albums are all from this summer, and the 7th one titled "old cell phone pics" are filled w/ pictures from a WHILE ago. enjoy the pics!***
