our kids, the LOVE of our lives: Christmas in the Snow NY style

there is no doubt we love our Christmas' in GA however there is something about SNOW during the holidays (during our trips to NY) that makes these moments and memories all the sweeter.

the ground was already covered in snow when we got to NY late thursday night but when it started falling again saturday we couldn't wait to get out and play!!!!

the kids think it is the coolest thing to eat the snow! and it is -- heck, i did when i was a kid too. however, juliette's love of eating the snow doesn't even come close in comparison to joseph's love of eating the snow. ever time i turned around that's all he'd be doing, EATING the SNOW! he was so desperate to eat the snow that after the first day of playing we came in and took our snow gear off and in the process joseph was trying to eat the snow off of his boots. i had to cut him off! at that point we had to have a snow intervention w/ joseph: me telling him that it was so nasty to eat snow off boots and prohibiting him from EVER doing it AGAIN!

abueli w/ her pride and joy, her nietos!!!! and i cannot pass up this chance to say that juliette had the BEST TIME EVER w/ my mom on this trip. each day was filled w/ making fun jewlery and cool crafts. juliette's enthusiasm at the beginning of each new day came from knowing that at some point during the day she was going to spend time w/ my mom making something cool. -thanks mom!

well, if they weren't busy wrestling this is where you could usually find these two... watching super-hero movies!

just goes to show, joseph couldn't get enough of the snow b/c he's trying to eat it while sledding down and as you can see it didn't work out so well ;-)
