first swim meet of the season -

 

1st backstroke of the season!

freestyle

finally swimming butterfly  - she didn't even jump off the block till 10:10pm for this race. she's normally in bed at 8pm so you can believe after this race and a long walk back to the car she (and joseph) were asleep by the time we drove out of the neighborhood.

as you can see here in this picture joseph is very excited and happy for his first swim meet of the season but you will shortly see that the excitement wore off when he finally got to the block and didn't want to jump in b/c the water was to cold (and let's face it, it was 8:30pm and he was TIRED!).

coaches brenden, libby, and avery all attempted to get him to jump in and w/ all his stubbornness he refused. it was cute and sad all at the same time for this mom; my poor sweet little man!
